I would sincerely like to thank GSECDC for the opportunity to become a first time home buyer in Jersey City. A few years prior, to purchasing my new home, I did not believe that I would experience home ownership in Jersey City. Real estate in Jersey City had climbed, so drastically; that I felt that owning a home in a city that I love was out of my reach. Then along came GSECDC with affordable housing right in Jersey City. I was so excited when I saw the huge sign on Cator Ave, which read, new 2 family affordable homes for sale. I quickly gave GSECDC a call and the staff at GSECDC began to immediately assist me in making my dream come true. I was easily walked through the process by professional staff and I am now the proud owner of a beautiful, new 2 family home. I love my gorgeous kitchen with its stainless steel appliances, spacious living room/dining room, laundry room, 3 bed rooms and two large bathrooms. The enormous back yard allows me to have great cook outs, while entertaining my large family and friends. I just want to say thank you GSECDC for helping me to fulfill my dream as a home owner and landlord.
